Saffa.ae is a community directory and resource for South Africans living in or relocating to the UAE. The site is operated by iMPLEMENTAi.ae, a UAE-based AI and technology consultancy. Contact: hello@saffa.ae.
We use lightweight, privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are popular, which searches people run, and which directory listings get the most interest. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous. We do not track individual users or use advertising trackers. The specific analytics provider is noted in our cookie/tracking setup when activated.
You can opt out of analytics tracking by using a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts, or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser — we respect that signal.
When you submit a new listing, claim an existing listing, or send a correction, you may provide:
This information is sent to the Saffa.ae team via email or WhatsApp for review. Your personal contact details (name, email) are not published on the site. Business contact details (phone, website, WhatsApp) may be published if the listing is approved.
We retain submission records to maintain a verification audit trail. If you want your submission details deleted, email hello@saffa.ae.
Saffa.ae does not have user accounts, logins, or passwords. We do not store personal data in a database on our servers.
We may set a small number of functional cookies to remember preferences (e.g. search filters). We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to third parties.
Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. Submission records are kept for as long as the listing is active, then archived. You may request deletion of any submission you made by emailing hello@saffa.ae with the business name and approximate submission date.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data you submitted to us. Contact us at hello@saffa.ae.
We update this page when our data practices change. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
Email hello@saffa.ae for any privacy-related request or question.
